The Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) is an annual flagship event organised by the Government of West Bengal. It serves as a platform to showcase the state’s business potential and attract investments across various sectors.

 

Bengal Global Business Summit aims to promote collaboration, support existing industries, and create a business-friendly atmosphere. Focused on boosting Bengal’s economic development, it brings progress and prosperity, driving innovation and sustainable success for the region. As a catalyst for economic vibrancy, the summit fosters synergies, propelling growth and opportunity.

The Challenge

Our agency was entrusted with the promotion of the BGBS 2023 effectively to a targeted audience of potential investors, industry leaders, and business delegates. It was a 2-day event across 3 venues with 17 participating countries.

 

The promotion of BGBS 2023 required a comprehensive strategy encompassing communication strategy, social media strategy and management, content development, website management, promotion in print media, electronic media, and digital channels, along with seamless event execution.

Creative Strategy

The campaign successfully combined traditional art with artificial intelligence to represent Bengal’s technological progress.

 

To effectively engage a diverse audience across various platforms, the campaign required a high volume of visually appealing content. Generative AI was employed to generate 50+ unique images.

 

The event was a successful blend of tradition and modernity.

Content Strategy

A strategic content strategy was required to effectively promote the event. This included crafting a narrative best aligned with the event’s goals and target audience. 

On the digital platforms, social media captions and content were created to highlight important information like key sectoral highlights, schedules, sectoral sessions, prominent speakers/topics, etc

The agency also designed and developed TVC to capture audience attention and generate excitement for the event.

Social Media Campaign

A strategic social media campaign was developed which included content creation, monitoring the social media conversations, data-driven sentiment analysis, audience interaction, and community building.
 
The campaigns used relevant hashtags (#BGBS2023, #BengalMeansBusiness) to increase discoverability and participation in online conversations.

Constant monitoring on the digital platforms helped in identifying the areas of high interest and engagement along with addressing any negative sentiment or concerns promptly. 

Extensive Outdoor Branding Campaign

A comprehensive outdoor branding campaign was done to amplify awareness of the BGBS 2023 which included over 10 lakh square feet of prominent outdoor advertising space across the city. This ensured high visibility in key locations like airports, bus stands, highways, and other prominent locations, leveraging high-traffic areas.

The creative elements used in the outdoor advertisements maintained a consistent visual language with the website and social media graphics.

Website Management

The website served as the central hub for all BGBS 2023 information. 
The website offered information related to the event like dates, venue, agenda, schedule, registration, news, and updates. 

The website was optimized for optimal display and functionality across various devices.

The agency implemented the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) best practices to ensure the website ranked prominently in relevant online searches for “BGBS 2023” and related keywords.

Promotion in Print, Electronic, and Digital Media
